Thank you very much!

  1. I have very little experience with black history, just the usual ChannelOne News and CNN Student News briefs during Black History Month. I would like to learn more about it and you are right, a lot of teacher materials are distributed in out-or-date formats (i.e., CDs) and an online database would be an excellent and easy to navigate resource. I also like the 2-way interaction with the resources and other people through the message boards. This is a very good initiative, if you go through with it, please let us know and share a link to your message boards and DropBox so I can share it with the social studies teachers at my school!

  2. Your Black History link was very good, like Adam my experience with this subject is very basic other than the usual Martin Luther King stuff on Front line or CNN information is out dated. After reading this I got on edmodo and typed in Black History month and found some pretty cool stuff. There was a group of different teachers who had posted different links to information, web links and even newspaper articles. Technology at its best! Thank you for the challenge of research. www.edmodo.com
